Spread the Bread – Haiti

In January 2016, God called us to “cast our bread on many waters” (Eccl:11:1) and led us to several orphanages in Haiti where we have started a bread ministry. Grain mills, wheat and other supplies are being sent across the waters and bread is now being made from freshly milled whole grain flour to feed the hungry children. Missions is where God empowers us to be the hands and feet of Christ to a dark and hurting world.

Immediate Needs for Haiti – Fill a Shipping Container with Wheat
To support the local economy corn is being used to make muffins and cornbread for the children. But wheat is needed to make bread and to supplement their nutritional needs. Since wheat is not grown locally in Haiti, it must be supplied from the US. It is most cost effective to ship a container load at the time. A 20 ft container will hold 640 six gallon buckets of grain.
A donation of $50 will pay for 1 bucket of grain and help cover the cost of shipping and customs. Donate now.
